Last night we kicked off Forge Mountain District at Blarneys, and around fifty or so people turned up. Anna and Laura sang and strummed a few tunes while people ate and chatted. Alan Hirsch spoke on Jesus, mission and the church – a provocative message that is both discomforting and exciting. It was a great beginning to some fresh conversations, reimagining of church, and new ventures that will prayerfully transform our local community.
Certainly was a really great night: was wonderful hearing Alan again, and it certainly was a decent turnout. Looking forward to more Forge MD events in the future! Great job guys
